Discussion and possible action to approve the posting and filling of the following vacant Slot, subject to the availability of payroll funds and any applicable Civil Service guidelines, effective October 2, 2015:

Issue: Employee retired. Length of employment from August 03, 2010 to September 3, 2015 (5 years).

Solution: To fill job opening of newly vacated position. 20 hours per week.

Result: The filling of this position will allow Food Transporter an assigned route to deliver meals to the home bound residents in Webb County. The vacant position will alleviate overload of consumers to one route and create efficiency and productivity of work within the Meals on Wheels Program.
