Discussion and possible action to authorize the 341st Sobriety Treatment Program to continue using the Extension Fund Balance of Criminal Justice Division (CJD) Grant No #2056407.

Issue: Starting Fund balance of Grant No: 2056407 is $16,061.57.

Solution: Utilizing fund balance of Grant 2056407.

Result: Services of Sobriety Treatment Program will continue without interruptions until the month of October or funds are exhausted.

Background:

An extension to Grant No: 2056407 was submitted to utilize and exhaust any remainder balance on 7/20/2015 and certified and finalized by the Office of the Governor on 07/21/2015.

Previous Court Action:

Commissioners Court approved to use extension grant balance on 09/14/2015. Discussion and possible action regarding the balance of Grant No: 2056407 will be reviewed by Commissioners Court to authorize 341st District Court Sobriety Treatment Program to forward remainder balance to the next fiscal year until money of Grant No 2056407 is exhausted.
