Discussion and possible action to accept the Texas Department of Agriculture Child & Adult Care Food Program grant award in a projected amount of $977,369.00, adopt the new budget and approve salary increases.

Background:

This grant funds food cost and salary expenses related to the child nutrition program. Salary increases matched that of the Head Start and Early Head Start program: 1.25% no degree; 1.50% Child Development certificate; 1.75% Associate Degree; 2.00% Bachelor Degree; 2.25% Master Degree.

Previous Court Action:

The Court last approved the acceptance of this application on September 22, 2014.
