Discussion and possible action to rescind action taken December 8, 2014 to award Request for Proposal (RFP) 2014-09 to Summit Building & Design and solicit a new RFP based on the revised drawings, expected reduced cost, and new location of the Webb County Fire Station.

Issue: Webb County has taken action to change the scope of work for the new Fire Station. The new Fire Station will represent a decrease of more than 25% in the value of the contract.

Solution: A new RFP with revised drawing expected reduced cost and a new location will be solicited.

Result: Webb County will award a contract based on the most recent proposed drawing, expected cost, and new location.
