Discussion and possible action to approve the budget for the 406^th District Court Veterans Treatment Program associated with the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) Grant Award Number 5H79TI026702-03, authorizing the County Judge to sign all relevant documents, and all other matters incident thereto. The total grant award of $325,000 will be budgeted into fund account number 2354 with sub-accounts that include Payroll, Health Insurance, FICA, Retirement, Unemployment, Workers Compensation, Professional Services, Contractual (Cordant Forensic Solutions (Norchem), La Familia), Administrative Travel, and Materials & Supplies(See attached Notice of Award). Amounts are subject to change according to changes in Webb Countyrates. In the event of any changes, line item transfers will be requested and executed, and a newdetailed budget will be submitted for the review and approval of the Commissioners Court. [Requested by 406th District Court; Fund #2352]

Issue: The approval of the budget is required in order to have the Auditor’s Office key in amounts under the corresponding fund account and sub-accounts.

Solution: The Commissioners Court approval of the SAMHSA Grant Award Budget as submitted.

Result: The 406^th District Court Veterans Treatment Program will be able to continue to operate by September 30, 2018.
