Discussion and possible action to authorize the Purchasing Agent to solicit Request For Proposals for Merchant Card Services for the collection of Government taxes, fines, court costs, and other service transactions.

Issue: The current Merchant Card Services contract is set to expire September 30, 2018.

Solution: Solicit for Merchant Card Services proposals.

Result: Award of a contract will allow departments that provide merchant card services to continue the exceptional customer service and convenience to Webb County residents.
