The proposed Webb County Texas Parks and Wildlife Non-Urban outdoor project will provide low to very low-income beneficiaries in the rural areas of Webb County with a first-time outdoor aquatic recreational activity within a complex indoor and outdoor recreational facilities in two separate and distinct rural areas of Colonia Bruni located South East in Webb County and in the rural area of Colonia Rio Bravo 52 miles from Bruni, TX located South in Webb County. The first splash pad will be located on 1600 Orquidia Lane Rio Bravo, TX 78046. The splash pad will measure 35 ft. X 35 ft. and will consist of 11 water features. The second splash pad will be located on 303 12th Street, Bruni TX 78344. The splash pad will measure 35 ft. X 35 ft. and will consist of 11 water features. The activity of a splash pad in both areas will expand the complex recreation facility for the rural residents of Webb County by adding a first time aquatic activity to a complex recreation facility. The splash pads will use a unique design feature by using an operated recycled water system reservoir that recycles the water that is being used. The permanently installed potable water source with an automatic level controller for the reservoir will also have an automatic chemical controller provided that is capable of shutting off the splash pad feature pumps. The water will be treated with an ultraviolet (UV) light treatment system provided or equivalent as approved by the Texas Department of Public Health for reduction of cryptosporidium. All water to the spray pad shall be treated with UV during its operations.
