Discussion and possible action to accept award STATE-R- 2021- WEBB CO- 00039 and enter into agreement with the Texas Department of Transportation for Webb County Community Action Agency- El Aguila Rural Transportation in the amount of THREE HUNDRED SIXTEEN THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED EIGHTY SEVEN DOLLARS ($316,487.00) and authorizing the County Judge to sign all relevant documents. This grant does NOT require a County Match. All required documentation has been submitted to the Economic Development Department for review and the solicitation is compliant with Webb County (SPOC) Single Point of Contact procedures. No Impact to the General Fund. [Requested by James Flores, CAA Executive Director]

Issue: El Aguila Rural Transportation is a grant funded agency.

Solution: Application for State funds will benefit both operations and administrative expenses and allow for continued transportation services.

Result: Continuation of services throughout the rural areas of Webb County.
