Issue: Additional funds are needed to pay for the shortage of materials and supplies needed for the day-to-day operations of Pct. 2, Place 1.  The effects of Covid-19 have driven up the cost of paper goods and additional fees for deliveries because of the rise in gas prices. We need to have toner in stock because we are a high-traffic office.  The paper goods like envelopes are months in back order. Some items like traffic ticket jackets are out of stock nationwide.  We have 30,932 open traffic tickets we need to stay stocked in paper goods and toner in order to have the tools needed to collect fees for Webb County.

Solution: Court authorization to transfer funds to cover our operation needs and current pending invoices will be paid in a timely manner.

Result: Pending invoices will be paid in a timely manner.  We can pre-order items needed to be in our stock, to stay operational.
