Discussion and possible action to enter into a three-year (January 12, 2026 through January 11, 2029) Rental Software Services Agreement between Monarch Tracking LLC and Webb County for Webb County Fleet Vehicles at a monthly cost of Nineteen Dollars Ninety-Nine Cents ($19.99) for GPS Tracking Services per Non-Sheriff County Vehicles and Fifty-Nine Dollars Ninety-Nine Cents ($59.99) for combination Ai vehicle Cameras (3 camera angles) and GPS tracking services per Sheriff County Vehicles, where all services include hardwire installation, removals, and reinstallations, subject to annual budget appropriations and authorizing the County Judge to sign and execute all relevant documents and any matters incident thereto. Issue: On July 28, 2025, the Commissioners Court authorized the Purchasing Agent to solicit formal request for proposals for GPS Trackers for all Webb County Vehicles and Ai Cameras (3 camera angles) and GPS trackers for Sheriff's Deputy Vehicles.

Solution: On October 27, 2025, the Commissioners Court awarded RFP 2025-008 “Webb County GPS Tracking Devices” to Monarch Tracking, LLC.

Result: Webb County will be better able to monitor (track) its fleet of vehicles.

Background:

Webb County is seeking to have all its fleet vehicles installed with GPS tracking units, in addition Webb County Sheriff vehicles will also include Ai Video Cameras in addition to GPS tracking units.
