Discussion and possible action to authorize an exception to the County Financial and Budget Policy and by Order, the following budget amendment (line item transfer) within the general Fund for fiscal year 2026. The accounts are from Operational Reserve account #1001-1130-001-431007-010 for the $23,000 to the County maintenance building account #1001-1100-001-4430005-005 (Casa Ortiz), and any other matters incident thereto.

Issue: The Webb County Historical Commission includes only operational expenditures as authorized by Texas Local Government Code 318.009.

Solution: The Casa Ortiz building improvements for the designed space for Webb County Historical Commission require an appropriate funding source in order not to conflict with operational expenditures authorized within Texas Local Government Code 318.009

Result: The designed space for the Webb County Historical Commission within Casa Ortiz will be funded with the appropriate building improvement account.
