Discussion and possible action to approve a one (1) year agreement beginning (May 31, 2022, through May 30, 2023) for Professional Services between Christina Garza and Webb County for the 341st District Court Adult Veterans Treatment Program to provide mental health and drug and alcohol abuse treatment services at a biweekly cost not to exceed Three Thousand Three Hundred Sixty-Seven Dollars ($3,367.00) for a total cost not to exceed Eighty-Seven Thousand Five Hundred Forty-Two Dollars ($87,542.00) and authorizing the County Judge to sign and execute all relevant documents and any other matters incident thereto. Issue: The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration has been authorized awards for up to 5 years and $400,000/year to fund and support Veterans Treatment Courts to address the needs of veteran participants and their families.

Solution: Securing funding through grant awards to enable veterans' continuance in the 341st District Court's Veterans Treatment Program and regional services.

Result: Enabling the 341st Veterans Treatment Program to continue providing services and enhancing the services currently being provided.
