Discussion and possible action to approve the closeout and release of 10% retainage in the amount of $33,987.28 to RG Enterprises, LLC dba G&G Contractors for the construction of the transmission main for the Texas Department of Agriculture Mirando Water Well Project No. 7219095 Phase 1 and authorizing immediate release of checks upon approval, and authorizing the County Judge to sign all relevant documents thereto; and any other matters incident thereto. Issue: Water wells have been constructed.
Solution: Commissioner's Court approves the release of retainage to RG Enterprises.
Result: RG Enterprises will be paid for services rendered.
Background:
Grant funds were awarded by the Texas Department of Agriculture - Colonia Fund Construction for water system improvements in Mirando City in the amount of One Million Dollars ($1,000,000.00) and Two Hundred Thousand ($200,000) coming from Match Funds.
Previous Court Action:
On January 15, 2021 Commissioners Court awarded Invitation to Bid (ITB) No. 2021-004 “Mirando City Water Well - Transmission Main” (TXDCBG #7219095) to the lowest and responsible bidder RG Enterprises, LLC dba G&G Contractors in an amount not to exceed $336,012.80 and to further authorize the County Judge to sign and execute the construction contract and any other matters incident thereto
