Issue: On September the 12th, Commissioners Court authorized the Purchasing Agent to order three (3) new lease vehicles for the newly created Fire Marshal Department. Due to delivery lead time of approximately 21-22 weeks, the Fire Marshal will need some temporary units for operational purposes.
Solution: Authorize the transfer of two (2) vehicles identified above, previously approved for auction, to be temporarily assigned to the Fire Marshal’s Department until arrival of leased units.
Result: Approval of transfer will allow the Fire Marshal to establish a temporary fleet for Department use.
