Discussion and possible action to allow the County’s current merchant provider for Casa Blanca golf course credit card services to process an application with CardConnect, a FiServ company, for the integration of credit card and POS services and allow the purchase of credit card equipment from the general operating account to be reimbursed with golf course funds; and any other matter incident thereto.
Issue: The golf course is currently using a credit card system which requires each sale to first be rung up into the point-of-sale system, then keyed into the credit card terminal. This is a customer service issue as well as prone to errors. CardConnect fully integrates into the Club Caddie point of sale system providing a seamless transaction experience.
Solution: Allow our current merchant provider to process application with CardConnect/FiServ which will allow a seamless integration with the Club Caddie POS system for credit card purchases.
Result: A point of sale system which will aid in customer service, sales, financial reporting to the Auditors department.
