Issue: Currently the Justice of the Peace Pct. 2 building is not part of the centralized phone system. Including these offices in the existing system, will eliminate the monthly cost for the lines in that building, will simplify the billing process, and will provide features that are not currently available on the existing system among other benefits.
Solution: Purchase all equipment needed to add these departments to the centralized system.
Result: Justice of the Peace Pct. 2 building will be part of the centralized phone system.
Background:
This process will eliminate the current billing process for individual phone lines (i.e. AT&T), County currently pays a block of numbers that are used by our centralize phone system. Multiple slots are available for assignment. The Technology fund will absorb the upfront costs for the equipment but will eliminate the monthly reoccurring fees from land line providers.
