Discussion and possible action to approve recommendations by the Purchasing Agent regarding the selection of scoring committees for the various delivery methods listed under the Texas Government Code; Section 2269 (Contracting and Delivery Procedures for Construction Projects) and under Government Code 2254 (Professional and Consulting Services) for all future formal solicitations.
Issue: Commissioners Court has formally requested recommendations on procedures related to scoring committees as it pertains to formal solicitations for goods and services.
Solution: The purchasing agent will provide a recommendation on who should be part of the scoring committee, which delivery methods do not require scoring committees and how a scoring committee would make recommendations based on top scores.
