Discussion and possible action to authorize the Webb County Community Action Agency to enter into an annual vendor agreement with Retail Energy Providers (listed below) for the implementation of Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) and the Comprehensive Energy Assistance Program (CEAP). Background:
Under these agreements the Community Action Agency and the Energy Providers shall implement both the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) and the Comprehensive Energy Assistance Program (CEAP), under which the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) will provide funding to be used for payment of qualifying low income clients home energy expense.
