Status report from Webb County Civil Legal Division and Webb County staff regarding the results of the Environmental report/study and the Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (M.E.P.) report/study conducted on the former HEB downtown property (being all of Block 58 WD of the City of Laredo) with discussion and possible action to authorize the funding of the purchase of the property in the amount of four million one hundred twenty-five thousand dollars and applicable closing costs; designating all funds expended (including all studies) for the purchase of the property reimbursable pursuant to the Court's Resolution of September 24, 2018, wherein the Court designated its intention to reimbuse the expenditure of funds for the acquisition of land and buildings for future County facililities and payment of contractual obligations for professional services in connection therewith (to wit: consultants, engineering, financial advisory, and legal) with proceeds of the issuance of obligations and further authorizing the purchase of the property and authorizing the Webb County Judge to execute any and all relevant documents and any other matters incident thereto.
