Discussion and possible action to approve Change Order No. 2 in the amount of Five Thousand Nine Hundred Dollars ($5,900.00) to Davila Construction, Inc. to remove, relocate and install existing playground equipment for La Presa Community Park Project. The change order will increase the current contract sum from $118,170.00 to $124,070.00 and to further authorize the County Judge to sign all relevant documents and any other matters incident thereto. Issue: The projected splash pad project for the Rio Bravo Community Center will require park space and relocating the existing playground equipment to La Presa Community Park project which in turn will be beneficial to both projects.
Solution: Approve change order number 2 to relocate county owned playground equipment to La Presa Community Park.
Result: The additional playground equipment will enhance the quality of life for Webb County residents and will also provide the required space for the future splash pad projects at Rio Bravo Community Center property.
