Solution: Request to fill this vacant slot will allow the department to continue to operate effectively.
Result: The filling of slot #2804 will allow the department to run on a full staff if the court grants approval. |

Discussion and possible action to authorize a longevity pay increase for fire and EMS personnel in accordance with the fiscal year 2017-2018 Webb County Budget adopted on September 25, 2017 by the Webb Commissioner’s Court; and any other matters incident thereto. This requested action is at the discretion of the department head and in compliance with the step increase enacted by the county wage and pay policy. Amounts correspond to those included in adopted department budget and corresponding Personnel General Order.
Issue: In order to meet budgetary transparency and utilize appropriated funds for the pay of fire and EMS personnel.
Solution: Allow department head to utilize funding at his discrepancy to provide departments fire and EMS personnel longevity pay increases.
Result: Fully utilize already approved FY 2017-2018 department budget funding. |
